SHOWCASE INFORMATION

All boys football camps are for 8th - 12th grade student-athletes.

All girls football camps are for 6th - 12th grade student-athletes.

All cheer clinics are for 2nd - 12th grade student-athletes.

The annual Bluegrass Showcase is the FIRST and ONLY multi-event camp in AMERICA!  The day features not only a cheer clinic, girl's flag football camp and boy's football camp, but also a campus tour of Kentucky State University.  This event is structured to provide comprehensive athletic evaluations and information for both athlete and parent regarding the college recruiting process.

If you have a belief and an attitude to become YOUR BEST in every aspect of your life, the Bluegrass Showcase has the perfect culture for you to begin your journey and chase your dreams.

The SHOWCASE is designed to provide each individual participant a solid foundation of basic cheer, girl's flag football and football fundamentals necessary to excel at their specific craft.  The football camps is a non-contact, no pads or helmet, skill teaching camp.

You will be provided elite instruction by the premier volunteer staff.  Each participant will be inspired and coached by highly qualified guest middle and high school coaches.

You will be exposed to our “Why” and learn how we are able to assist you on your journey.

We are excited about having you at our camp and we look forward to introducing you to our staff.

Frequently Asked Questions

INSURANCE & PHYSICALS:

Campers must be protected by personal medical insurance.  Medical physicals may be provided but are not necessary.  The medical information provided during the online registration will be sufficient.  A certified athletic trainer will be on hand at all times.

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS:

The University’s policies and procedures regarding the protection from COVID-19 is fluidly changing weekly.  The Bluegrass Showcase will continually adapt to adhere to each policy and procedure to make sure all campers and staff are protected to the best of their ability.  Procedures and policies will be communicated as things develop prior to the beginning of camp.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT:

Bluegrass Showcase: March 22

Cheer Clinic participants will check-in at 9:00 a.m.  Unless participants drive themselves to showcase, an authorized adult MUST be present to check a participant in and out.

Girl's Flag Football camp participants will check-in at 10:30 a.m.  Unless participants drive themselves to the showcase, an authorized adult MUST be present to check a participant in and out.

Boy's Football camp participants will check-in at 12:30 p.m.  Unless participants drive themselves to the showcase, an authorized adult MUST be present to check a participant in and out.

Check out will be immediately following showcase sessions at the showcase site.  For check-out, the authorized adult should arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the end of each showcase to pick up participant(s).  Participants will not be released to anyone not authorized by parent/guardian.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO ATTEND SHOWCASE?

Our cheer clinics are open to all 2nd - 8th graders.

Our girl's flag football camps are open to all 6th - 12th graders.

Our boy's football camps are open to all 8th - 12th graders.

Our showcases are not open to individuals that have already graduated high school.

The Bluegrass Showcase is open to any and all entrants limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.  Expenses include but are not limited to meals, showcase t-shirt/jersey, and/or showcase tuition.  Group rates of any kind ARE NOT available.

REFUND POLICY:

ONCE THE SHOWCASE SESSION HAS BEGUN THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS, EXCEPT IN THE CASE OF INJURY OR ILLNESS.  This includes the cancellation of session(s) due to severe weather.

WHAT TO BRING:

Workout gear necessary: Cleats, tennis shoes, shorts are the NEEDED gear for competition.  NO HELMETS, PADS, PAJAMA PANTS, WAVE CAPS, BONNETS.  Camp director reserves the right to not allow a student-athlete to not participate in the showcase if dress code is not followed.

For Specialists, kickers please bring 1 football (if you own one), 1 kicking tee, a kicking block OR kicking tri-pod, kicking shoes and workout attire.

MISCELLANEOUS:

Any prescription medication, medical questions/information/instructions can be given to our Sports Medicine staff during the check-in process.

Water will be provided for all participants throughout the showcase.  However, the participant is welcome to bring a water bottle.

Participants may want to bring a bag or backpack to keep phones, sunscreen, dry socks, etc. in during the day (personal items brought to the showcase can be secured at the showcase location upon request).

A Bluegrass Showcase t-shirt will be provided during camp.  Building Lives Through Sports Network, Kentuckiana Alliance For Athletes, LLC, Louisville's Girl's Flag Football and Unity Cheer, INC are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
