TAKING ADVANTAGE OF A
GAME DAY VISIT

BLTSN and our staff have been getting a lot of questions regarding college recruiting "game day visits."  These are events where student-athletes contact, or are contacted, by a college coach asking them to come out to a game.  Schools typically provide a student-athlete and "TWO" parent/guardian tickets to a game and different recruiting events throughout the day.

Each Fall (August - November), we take a group of student-athletes from around the Kentuckiana region on college game day visits.  Our trips have attended games at schools like University of Kentucky, Eastern Michigan University, Bowling Green State University, Murray State University, Kentucky State University, Tennessee State University, Western Michigan University, University of Tennessee, Vanderbilt University, Austin Peay State University and others.  Our trips have helped numerous football players earn hundreds of scholarship offers.

Why a Game Day Recruiting Visit

  • Cost efficient to attend multiple college football games.

  • It allows families to get a better feel for a program.

  • Coaches will take a minute and check out your film and learn about you prior to your arrival.

  • Recruiters will see the game day list and familiarize themselves with the prospects.

  • Assist you with speaking to the college program directly before traveling.

  • Fun time and an overall productive learning experience.
